Ms. Victoria Carrier started her dancing career 28 years ago at Dance Arts Studio. She has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hiphop, Acrobatics, and Baton since starting her dance journey. At the age of 8, she began dancing competitively and went on to receive numerous scholarships and awards. Over the years, she learned from many professional choreographers and dancers such as Doug Caldwell, Josh Bergasse, Rhonda Miller, and Erin Gillum-Mills and began teaching at Dance Arts Studio in 2006 under her mentor, Allyson Meche. Throughout her high school years, she was a member of the Iowa High School Jacket Jammers dance team where she served as Captain her junior and senior years. She went onto college to become a McNeese State University Cowgirl Kicker. In her last year of college, she was offered an opportunity that she couldn’t turn down, owning her own dance studio! After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies with a Concentration in Mathematics, she became certified by Dance Masters of America and really focused on becoming a better teacher and choreographer. While owning the studio, she has served as the choreographer for many father-daughter wedding dances and local dance groups including Cowgirl Kicker Kuties, the LCCA Chargette dance line, Grand Lake Junior Cheerleaders, Premier Dance Center Company teams, and glitz pageant contestants. Victoria also enjoys competing, coaching, judging, and emceeing many pageants throughout the state of Louisiana. She currently resides in Iowa with her husband of 11 years, their son Colton, daughter Loghan-Elizabeth, and fur babies Tiger and Zeus. Ms. Victoria never thought she would be so lucky to be doing what she loves for over 10 years now! She would also like to thank everyone for choosing Premier Dance Center and to know that our studio will always be a place where your child is not only well trained in the art of dance but LOVED!
